Welcome to Public Relations & Education

    The mission of the Public Relations Committee is to provide education, networking, and support for development and the continuation of the French Creek Valley Railroad Historical Society. We also educate the public about the history of the railroad industry and the people who made the industry survive in Crawford County by public speaking, publications, and visual advertising. Our means of communicating is with the most informative members from our organization that we can offer. In addition we invite other public speakers from outside FCVRRHS and our county to share their knowledgeable of Crawford County Railroad History.

    The Committee is committed to support the development goals of the Society's museum so that all future generations will be able to study and understand the history of the railroad industry in Crawford County.

    The FCVRRHS has raised money the last two years for Toys for Tots, by raffling a train set during our Christmas season layout display.

FCVRRHS is organized and operated solely for educational and public service purposes and is recognized by the IRS as a public charity.
